To be a thriving marketplace offering quality, local products that fosters a vibrant community nourished by a robust local food system, where empowered vendors connect with local businesses and schools, creating a legacy of sustainability and shared prosperity.

Location

The Marketplace is located at 5532 Schneider Rd in Rapid City.

Conveniently located along Rapid City Rd, on the Northwest corner of Rapid City Rd and Schneider Rd.

Hours

The Marketplace will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM beginning Memorial Day weekend (May 24, 2024) and continuing throughout the Summer\Fall growing season. 

Vendor Spaces

Vendors with produce and products from throughout Michigan are invited to participate. For information about becoming a Vendor, click here.

Addional Spaces

In addition to Vendor space, the Market Host will maintain spaces for Market Administration, Community Activities and Non-profit Organizations.

• Market Administration: This space will be used by the Market Host to conduct administrative tasks during Marketplace hours of operation.
• Community Activities: This space will be used for scheduled community activities. A featured activities schedule will be published monthly. Activities are open to the community at no cost. No sales are to be made in this space. Vendors are encouraged to share the activities schedule and participate in them.
• Non-Profit Organizations: This space will be granted to a single non-profit organization each week and is prioritized in the order of application submission. Organizations who have been granted space can apply for additional weeks, but priority will be given to applications of organizations who have not yet been granted space during the Marketplace season. Non-profit organizations must adhere to all Policies, Procedures and Operational Guidelines but are exempt from Vendor Fees. Interested non-profits should contact the Market Host.
